Training
Training takes places on Wednesday nights throughout the summer starting in late April / early May and going right through until the end of September.
We meet at 6.45 for a light warm up and then kick off at 7pm. Depending upon numbers we either play one game with 2 teams on a full pitch, or 4 teams and 2 games on half a pitch.
Finishing time is fairly flexible with people free to come and go as they please. However, depending on the weather and how tired we all are we are normally done by 8.30pm, often going to the pub for a beer after.
The standard of the games varies greatly and is always very good fun. We have a good mix of people with those that play regularly and those that haven’t played since school. This means that you can easily find your own level and enjoy some rugby. It is competitive but played in a very informal and good spirit with lots of banter and joking around.
Anyone is welcome, male or female. This is because we play in both single sex and mixed leagues. The girl’s side is an area we are very keen to develop so lads feel free to bring along wives, girlfriends etc and any old girls out there would be very welcome to come along.
There is limited parking available at the cemetery but more parking is available near both pavilions on Chesham road.

Berkhamsted Old Boys Rugby Football Club is a club set up for past alumni of Berkhamsted Boys and Collegiate School.
It is a friendly and social club for all abilities and provides a catalyst for leavers of Berkhamsted Schools to meet and play rugby with a range of different age groups.
